Match Report Press Report

Crawley Squash Club IV Beat Nutley I.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. This turned out to be the case with a Home win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 85 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Charlie Gibson winning through.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 131 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, Fahad Rana.

Player of the tie was the Away No. 2 string, Jonny Jones, gaining 70 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, Jonny Jones, who over-turned a 203 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.

If the Away No. 4 player, David Brett, had not had to withdraw after 1 game(s) the result could have been closer.
