Match Report Press Report

Nutley I Beat Crawley Squash Club IV.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. This turned out to be the case with a Home win.

On paper, the number 2 string should have been the closest, with only 38 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Jonny Jones winning through.

It was the number 4 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 125 Points ! Victory finally going to the Home Player, David Brett.

With 3 strings going the distance, the match turned out to be a hard-fought battle.

If the Away No. 1 player, Muhammad Khan, had not had to withdraw after 4 game(s) the result could have been closer.
