Dunnings S and RC III Lost to Brighton III in a close match.
With the home team having higher Gradings in 2 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.
On paper, the number 4 string should have been the closest, with only 91 ranking points separating the two players before the match.
Home advantage prevailed though, with Bruce Pearman winning through.
It was the number 1 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 134 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Tom Allum-Watts.
With 3 strings going the distance, the match turned out to be a hard-fought battle.
Player of the match must be the Away number 1 string, Tom Allum-Watts, who over-turned a 1115 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.

Away string 5 played as an unranked player and has been added retrospectively.
He played in the bottom team of the club and has been added to next month's ranking list along with his ES number so there is no infringement. |
